Both intranet and extranet can make a difference to FYC's operations by significantly improving efficiency, internal and external communication and storage of information and data in the organization. Intranet will establish a centralized information warehouse that can be accessed by employees from any location within and outside the organization. Further, intranet will ensure security of data and will only allow authorized users to access the data. Extranet will allow communication with vendors, customers in smooth and streamlined manner and allow customers and vendors to send information, access data, etc. in a secured and quick manner.
