Trust is incredibly important to a management team's credibility since without trust there is no credibility and without credibility personal accountability and results suffer. Trust builds from the top down so it is important that it starts from the top management team in order for it to be followed by the subordinates. If there is no trust for management, there will be invariable trust issues which ultimately reach frontline workers and the customes that they serve and the end result is a diminished customer experience, missed opportunities, higher employee turnover and disengagement, the loss of customers and eventually revenue, and disappointing bottom line results.
