One company that I am familiar with is Nypro. The mission of the company is "To serve our customers with integrated, innovative and environmentally sound manufacturing solutions, built on Nypro's global plastics leadership, creating value for our team members, communities and shareholders" nypro.com.
I do not think that the strategy is very effective. The company is an industrial supplier of plastic parts and products. Even though the company has been innovative in injection molding and has improved the technology, there is not much thrust towards an environmentally sound manufacturing solution. The company basically tows the line of its customers and supplies whatever ...
