Organizational culture is very important in project management. It lets the project manager know how the organization interacts with it's customers, it's employees, and how they handle change. It can help the project manager understand if punctuality is important to the organization. It will also aid the project manager in determining if the organization has a sense of urgency in it's work, or if it is more of a go with the flow type of company. By understanding the culture of the organization the project manager can tailor the implementation process in away that gets buy in quickly and is accepted by the work force with in the company.
