Brief job descriptions:
IT Department
I/T Manager: Manages a group of developers who support one or moe of the following functions: finance, sales, human resources, marketing.
Sr Developer: (Highest level of system engineer who provides consultative services to IT projects). Acts as the project lead and/or project manager on complex IT consulting engagements for clients. Manages projects from developing the project charter, approving scope, timelines, and deliverables for clients. May direct internal and external developers and clients. Typically manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Developer (intermediate level). Works under the direction of the project manager or lead to provide technology solutions to meet client needs. Participates in project meetings to understand business needs and requirements and develops code.
Jr Developer: Develops and tests code within assigned applications and projects.
Finance:
Finance Manager: Leads the financial services team for the division. Provides monthly and quarterly financial and accounting reports that track divisional financial performance and scorecard measures. Leads the division's budget planning and forecasting activities.
Sr Accountant (team leader): Monitors, reconciles and reviews all accounting and general ledger activities in the assigned areas.
Accountant: Records all accounting transactions and runs reports for assigned areas as needed including budget variance and reconciliation activities for headcount and expenses.
Jr Accountant: Learns company accounting and general ledger systems. Escalates all unusual transactions to the Sr Accountant or business client as needed.
Project Accountant: Manages accounting services for special projects including setting up accounts and reconciling costs and expenses.
Administrative:
Executive Assistant: Provides a full range of administrative activities for the assigned divisional executive. May manage the administrative pool for the division providing guidance and training to new admins.
Sr Administrative Assistant: Provides a full range of administrative support activities for an assigned manager and/or their team. Typically may provide support including scheduling meetings and materials/presentations as needed for up to 10 staff members.
Administrative Assistant: Provides meeting scheduling, mail distribution, filing, supply ordering, and related activities for a team of up to 5 staff members. Typically reports to manager or supervisor within the division.
HR Representative: Provides recruiting and employee relations support to the divisional management team. May train staff as needed in HR activities.
