Health care costs are rising for two main reasons. The first reason is because the economy became tighter, and when it did, the costs of many services went up, including health care. The costs of health care remained high, and never came back down. There is no talk of health care costs declining, so they will remain high. When people began to watch their spending, and companies began raising prices a few years ago to offset rising costs, the health care field was no exception. Health insurance premiums rise every year, on the average, for the same reason.
