Values are those absolute or relative ethical beliefs, practices and standards that become the basis or foundations of a person's ethical action. Individuals have their own set of values based on their socialization and experience. A person's value system begins at home. From childhood, what a person observes as the values of his/her parents and elders become the foundation of his own value system becoming more complex and are open to be informed by religion, school, and experience. But personal values are set by experience - it is subject only to the beliefs of the individual. Most of the time for example, a Christian family can raise an individual whose value system is also Christian, judging right and wrong from what the foundation of his/her family has imbedded in him/her. But not all value-systems are the same because we all have different values at home and our experiences are also unique to us. Brothers and sisters can have similar value systems but they differ on many aspects as well. Consider 2 siblings who went to different schools.
