In our experience, change management planning often receives less attention than conversion planning. Why do you think this happens?
Change management is an important aspect when implementing a new program. It is the process that keeps the staff and all others in the company updated with the changes that will occur before, during and after the implementation is completed. This helps to lower the stress levels for most. "Change management emphasizes the "people side" of change and targets leadership within all levels of an organization including executives, senior leaders, middle managers and line supervisors. When change management is done well, people feel engaged in the change process and work collectively towards a common objective, realizing benefits and delivering results" (Prosci, Inc. 2014).
