Describe the role and function of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Administrative Tribunal
The role and function that the International Labor Organization plays in assisting employees and organizations is vital for employees and organizations across the globe. It's Administrative Tribunal was given the authority to hear and rule on complaints as this was provided by amendments that were made to allow the (ILO) Tribunal this autonomy. The Tribunal has been in existence for at least 60 years and is comprised of a total of seven judges who hail from different nationalities as this is a requirement for the tribunal. It emanated from the League of Nations, and the Governing Body of the International Labor Conference is responsible for recommending these appointees. Some of the functions that the organization is tasked with ruling on include determining the legality of the appointment of officials in reference to whether these appointments are in accordance to Staff Regulations as well as other substantive employment issues. ...
