Research the Bacardi website. Using your research findings from the Library and the Internet, develop both an EFAS (External Factors Analysis Summary) table and an IFAS (Internal Factors Analysis Summary) table. The tables are to be submitted in one Excel file (one sheet for the EFAS and one sheet for the IFAS), separate from the assignment that will be written in MS Word.
In the MS Word file there will be a description of both your environmental and internal scanning process, including what factors that is considered and why.
In summary, you will submit two files: one file in MS Excel, which will count as two written pages, and one file in MS Word, which should be 4-6 pages in length.

Those brands that are perceived as low cost are purchased more during times of low income and their sales increase. At the same time there are excellent global opportunities for premium drinks produced by Bacardi. Another strong opportunity that affects the industry of Bacardi is the level of taxes on alcoholic drinks. These taxes are relatively low internationally. Those countries where such taxes are low present excellent opportunities for Bacardi: In addition, Bacardi has developed a formula with casino's and other luxury products to penetrate countries where alcohol is banned. These countries present a market where Bacardi faces a low level of traditional competition.
