The well written goals include writing the goals in positive terms. Writing in a positive term rather than a negative term can help the brain remain positive in pursuit of the goal. Another characteristic is to write a goal one truly wants in a detailed manner. To write a goal that sounds good is nice, but one has to be willing to do the work to reach a goal. So it must be something one wants. Creating the goal and its details helps solidify those goals as well.
