1. Would it be wise to keep up as a business owner as a competitive entity or remain where one is and perfect it slowly?

2. As a group do you think gender equality is well accepted in the US? Think about the differences between small town Iowa, backwoods Louisiana, and Berkeley, California. Think they are different or similar?

3. How would you determine the balance needed to ensure that local needs are met while possibly giving a local community a taste of another country especially if their desire is to have such an experience? Secondly, what contingency plan would you suggest to decision makers in the event their localization efforts and customization efforts were rejected by the locals because of the natives loyalty to local suppliers?

4. I think you make a valid point when mentioning that one the advantages of local market differences is that then a company can offer products tailored to the local market which place the company in a strong competitive position, but the disadvantage is that the price can be high for the local market. In your view, how can the high price be reduced in such situation? I mean a company would have to have a strategy that would if necessary lead to price reduction and create barrier to enter as high price is an incentive for other companies to enter the market (develop similar products)?

I have had to do this in my own life with Scentsy and with tutoring others; consequently, none of this came easy, and it does take hard work to accomplish. On the other hand, if the President knows who to target and knows a plethora of people, then it may not take too long, but not all people are the same. Regardless, the firm will become competitive because of the speed at which the owner wants to go, and much time and effort are required in order to make this possible for those he or she hires to make it possible.

Gender equality is not accepted well in the United States, in my opinion. I say this because women ...
