Need help in preparing a paper with the following scenario. Many groups make up a diverse workforce. One of the elements of groups is age. There are currently four generations in the workforce. Imagine that you are in the Human Resource Department and have been asked to suggest ways to address the needs and desires of the different generations. Include all your ideas, how they would be implemented, and how each would be evaluated for effectiveness.
The generations would include the Baby Boomers (1946-1964), the Years (1965-1977), the Years (1978-1986), and the Millennials (Born after 1987). Each generation brings some good qualities. Since they sacrificed a great deal to get where they are in their career, this workaholic generation believes that Generation X and Generation Y should pay their dues and conform to a culture of overwork.
Baby Boomers may criticize younger generations for a lack of work ethic and commitment to the workplace. Baby Boomers are confident, independent and self-reliant. This generation grew up in an era of reform and believe they can change the world. They questioned established authority systems and challenged the status quo. In the legal workplace, Baby Boomers are not afraid of confrontation and will not hesitate to challenge established practices.
