The anthropocentric viewpoint would dictate that the company should stay because it provides jobs and funds for humans, and because this theory believes that people are at the center of the universe and are given dominion over all things on earth including nature, nature must work for humans. Therefore, the environment would be required to serve the needs of humans, which obviously means that humans who are provided jobs as a result of the company, must be given the ability to sustain their existence at the expense of the environment.
