Discussion 5

//In this section, the discussion about the romantic relationship has been presented along with the genuine reasons that are liable for ending a romantic relationship.//

Romantic Relationship

I was in an intimate romantic relationship with my classmate during my higher education. We were very close to each other and were in a very affectionate and caring relationship. This relationship was not only transparent, but we enjoyed a high level of commitment towards each other in this romantic relationship. Romance was an essence of our relationship that was based on commitment and trust. We expected to have a long lasting relationship; however, due to some unexpected circumstances the relationship could not go long and finally, it ended. We ended the relationship because of the gaps in our social and family values and beliefs. This gap eventually resulted in the disputes in our families and in order to take care of our families, we mutually ended our relationship and wished a better future for each other.

//In this section, lessons learnt from the relationship have been presented, and it also reflects the similarities of lessons learnt with the personal growth described in Tashiro and Frazier (2003) article.//
