One of the major policy regarding email and internet usage in my job is that internet and e-mail at the organization should be used for official or business purpose only. We are only allowed to use internet to surf websites related to our official work and not for personal purposes. Further, e-mail should be used to sending and receiving official emails only. Further, under no circumstances may company's computers and internet network should be used to access pornographic and other prohibited content.

We are not allowed to send or receive pornographic emails as it can be constituted as sexual harassment. Further, any emails that discriminate other employees will be considered as violation of the harassment policy.

Further," Software needed, in addition to the Microsoft Office suite of products, must be authorized by your supervisor and downloaded by the IT department.
