Implementing ERP is a tough task for any organization because of which extensive groundwork is required. Since it requires immense commitment on resources, organizations tend to skip this step and rush into the implementation part. As a result most of the implementations fail. In such cases, organization fails to identify the internal expertise required or resources commitment to handle risks and complexities of ERP. In other cases, organizations rush into implementation to expedite the go-live cycle, resulting in operational disruption.
