Probability calculation using Z score
Not what you're looking for?
A clinical study was performed to determine if a product was effective in alleviating side effects caused by a mode of treatment.
In the treated group (100 subjects) it was found that 10% had side effect A, 15% had side effect B and 65% had side effect C.
In the untreated group (1000 subjects) the same side effects occurred as follows: A15%, B 17% and C 55%.
Given these data can on compute a P value to determine if the differences are real with a 95% confidence. Please explain and if possible show how to compute a p value for each of the outcomes; A, B, and C.
