3) Furnish 2 offices each with a desk, chair, and file cabinet and 2 bookcases. At a local store there are 6 models of desks, 8 models of chairs 4 models of file cabinets and 10 models of bookcases. How many choices do you have if you want to select two desks, two chairs, two file cabinets and four bookcases if you don't want to select more than one of any model?

3) The solution would be
2 desks can be selected in 6C2 ways.
2 chairs can be selected in 8C2 ways
2 file cabs can be in 4C2 ways
4 book cases in 10C4 ways
so total no of ways is 6C2 X 8C2 X 4C2 X 10C4 = 15 X 28 X 6 X 210= 529200 ways.
