Three colors have been proposed for a product: blue, green, yellow. The null hypothesis for a goodness-of-fit test would be . . .
    A) green is preferred over the other colors
    B) there is no preference between colors
    C) any one color is preferred over the other colors
    D) impossible to determine

I believe that 'B' is the null hypothesis as the assumption would be equal preference among consumers for each of the colors. Is 'B' the best response? If not, can you explain in a few sentences or less?
