There does exist a conflict between these two positions, due to the fact that autonomy in respect to the freedom of expression may argue for the right of individuals to express sentiments, etc. that may amount to sexual harassment, which may infringe upon an individual's autonomy in respect to the right to be free from sexual harassment. This conflict may be balanced by ensuring that individuals have autonomy in respect to the freedom of speech and expression, as long as the speech and expression does not amount to sexual harassment, which is an illegal activity.

The concern is how employers will control the expression of freedom of speech in a manner that does not pose a conflict between one person's liberty and another person's equality. This should be done in accordance with both free speech laws and sexual harassment laws.
