Due to this factor, nature does indeed seem to have a fundamental and very important role in the process of language development, due to the fact that the quality of the brain of an individual will have a tremendous bearing on that individual's ability to process and utilize language. Due to these factors, the quality of a human being's cerebral cortex will play a large role in determining their ability to understand and utilize language. The specific region of the cerebral cortex that is highly important to written language utilization as well as speaking would be Wernicke's area of the cerebral cortex, which is the area, was responsible for the human ability to pronounce words, as well as to utilize both written and spoken language. This provides us with very important information concerning the natural foundation of the process of language development within human beings as a whole, as well as within individuals. It is obvious from a natural point of view that the quality and condition of an individual's cerebral cortex will play a large role in determining their proficiency in being able to understand and utilize language, and to continue in the process of language development. This leads us to needing to understand the importance of genetics in helping to establish the role that nature has in the process of language development.
