Fundamental attribution error usually occurs when a miscommunication is attributed, "to dispositional variables, such as the sender's carelessness, poor attitude, or personality" (Vignovic, 2010). People make these errors based on their own biases. Either a person's race, gender, ethnicity, or even religion is not taken into factor for their disposition, behavior or attitude and is misconstrued during communication.
