Cannon Ball Trajectory
A canon ball with mass m has a mechanism that blows it into 4 pieces of equal mass, who spread (relative to the canon ball with no motion) at 90 angles: forward, backwards, down, up in equal velocities.
The canon ball is being fired from a canon at velocity V and angle of 45 degrees above the horizon, and it spreads at the maximum height of its trajectory, such that one of the pieces keep flying in the same direction, and one piece stops (and falls).
A. Where would the canon ball hit if it weren't to explode and divide to 4?
B. What are the 4 points in which the 4 pieces hit the ground?
C. What is the center of mass of the 4 pieces?

The horizontal range of a projectile is given by
As the angle of projection = 450 and the velocity of projection is v the range will be
Thus the ball will hit the ground at ...
