Considering clockwise direction positive, Net EMF in the circuit will be + 8.00 - 4.00 = 4.00 V
The current in the loop will face a total resistance
R = 6.00 + 0.50 + 9.00 + 0.50 + 8.00 = 24.0
Hence the current in the loop is given by
I = V/R = 4.00/24.0 = 1/6 = 0.167 A
