A nucleus has the charge of 80 protons.
(a) What are the direction and magnitude of the electric field at 3.2E-10 m from the nucleus? I have determine that the direction is away from the nucleus but cannot find the magnitude.
(b) What are the direction and magnitude of the force exerted on an electron located at this distance? I have determined that the direction is toward the nucleus but am unsure of how to derive the magnitude.
