I think that moral philosophers should focus more on thinking about virtue ethics. Unfortunately there seems to be little emphasis or importance placed on character. The idea of doing right because I value virtue is a joke to most people. As a matter of fact the whole concept of right and wrong is pretty much archaic in our culture today. All things seem to be relative and any behavior is permissible as long as I can get away with it. If virtue ethics are not stressed our society will descend into anarchy. Only ...
