In the next 50 years improvements in DNA or fingerprinting technology, improved homeland security, and greater protection against cyber-crimes will ensure a substantial improvement in criminal justice. Each of the changes expected are in some way related to technology. The weaknesses in DNA/fingerprinting technology, homeland security and cyber-crimes protection have been the cause of great distress to the victims.
