Ted Bundy has baffled the conscience of America decades after he was executed for his crimes. The reasoning behind why many in this country are still aghast and puzzled by his crimes is because he seemed to be the stereotypical "All American" guy. This is how he was able to kill so many victims without being noticed as well as his two successful escapes from prison that enabled him to commit more murders and violent crimes. The general synopsis is that Bundy used all of the traits of the "All American" guy to manipulate his victims, subsequently killing them after gaining their trust. He is regarded as one of the most prolific serial murders in the history of the United States and his crimes live on in infamy.
