In reference to the scenario provided, I do not think that Elite University should keep Dr. Gemini on board for the upcoming year. I believe that if Dr. Gemini's salary request will exhaust the school's merit pay increase for every other faculty member, man or worman, that this request should be denied. There is no reason to keep one Professor on staff to secure the school's requirement of the affirmative action laws. I do however, believe that Elite University should hire another female ...
