Advocate
Please help with the following problem.
Being an advocate is essential in any helping profession. Although, it may seem like an easy task there is a lot of responsibility placed on a person advocating on someone else's behalf. What skills have you found are necessary to be a useful advocate? By obtaining these skills what potential issues could you avoid as an advocate? Have any of you had the opportunity to advocate for someone in your own lives?

I've found that when you can approach your position firmly grounded on factual research and can provide evidence that the intervention for which you are advocating has had demonstrated success you are more likely to receive a favorable response.
