Children learn in a variety of ways and their learning styles are also different from each other. A teacher who cares about their interests and one who cares for them can greatly affect their progression in learning. Children learn more by actively participating in class discussions and having hands-on activities most of the time. Teachers should be moderating the class and guiding the children to learn the lessons. They must also know how to instill the importance of having procedures to be able to maintain discipline in the classroom. When children know what to do, they can be the best in the classroom provided that proper consequences are given to those who do otherwise. Children can be visual, auditory of kinesthetic learners and appropriate activities must be given to suit their learning styles. Children can also be intelligent in their own way. They can have linguistic, logical, spatial, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal or naturalist intelligence. Learning activities can be catered to address to these intelligences as children can be smart in different ways.
