They suspect that the major factor influencing the quantity of soda consumed is the maximum temperature on the day of each game. The last three seasons have yielded the 18 observations of quantity of soda sold and maximum temperature (F) in the file football.xls.

(b) Is there evidence to suggest that increases in temperature increase the quantity of soda sold?

(c) Construct a prediction and a 95% prediction interval for the amount of soda sold when the maximum temperature is 70 degrees (F).
