I am going to explain the application and features of Bluetooth in this tutorial. I hope this tutorial will help you in clearing all your doubts regarding the Bluetooth you might have.
Bluetooth is a basically a protocol. In fact, a standard and communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power-class-dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters, 100 meters) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.
Bluetooth makes it possible for the devices to transfer data into smaller chunks if the devices exists in the range that particular Bluetooth supports, so in a way helps in the communication between the 2 devices.
Bluetooth uses a radio technology to transmit chunks of data to the other devices. And, because the devices use a radio (broadcast) communications system, they do not have to be in line of sight of each other i.e. it is not necessary that there should be no hindrance between the 2 devices. For an example, a person sitting in one apartment, can transmit data without any issues, to a person sitting in another apartment which is the fourth apartment from the first person's place. Even though both cannot see each other and there are so many things in between 2 person's place they can still transmit data between each other quite easily and efficiently.
In order to use Bluetooth, a device must be compatible with certain Bluetooth profiles. These define the possible applications and uses of the technology.
    List of applications
More prevalent applications of Bluetooth include:
    • Wireless control of mobile phone and a hands-free-headset.
    • Wireless communication between a mobile phone and a hands-free-headset, and also, the communication with PC input ...
