Membership to the World Trade Organization (WTO) can benefit its member states in some ways. One of them is the promotion of peace between nations. WTO creates and reinforces confidence and cooperation among member states in an international setting. It results from the basic principle of the trading system which is the smooth flow of trade and provision of a constructive way of dealing with conflicts over trade issues. These trade issues arise due to the expansion in the volume of trade and WTO helps in handling these situations constructively.
