1. I was watching a show recently on Boeing and the new plane that they just launched they faced numerous problems because of assembling parts in different countries they had a lot of issues with quality of the products. Is there a metrics or process development and design issue? What are your thoughts?

In regards to Boeing having issues with their parts that are used with their planes, this is significant and worth further investigation. I believe that it is a metrics and process problem for a number of reasons. First of all, this is because they have outsourced their parts to other countries that have lower quality materials available and possibly a lack of education in putting them together (since it is not U.S. equivalent). This can become an issue because they may not know how to go about manufacturing them correctly in order to have them shipped to the United States without having the Engineers assemble them correctly.
