Accenture was given a "strong positive" rating, which is the highest possible rating, in the MarketScope for Service-oriented Architecture Consulting and Systems Integration Services in North America for 2009 by Gartner. The evaluation criteria included customer experience, market understanding, products and services, market presence and innovation.
In the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market, Accenture was one of the first consulting firms to arrive, and partnered with Salesforce.com in 2005 to help them expand into larger enterprise deployments. Accenture is also ahead of the curve with their cloud computing initiatives such as strategy and planning, implementation and post implementation services.
Accenture is the worldwide leader in systems integration services and aggressive growth rates for the past several years. There is a strong demand for their SAP and Oracle services as well as information management services.
Accenture is financially strong with net revenues of $21.58 billion for fiscal year 2009. Growth occurred in the public services and resources division, remained flat in total revenues, and had small decreases in communication and high tech, financial services, and products. There was high growth reported over all in Asia, flat growth for America and slight decreases in Europe.
