What Johannes wanted were progress reports from his Mexico City office so that he could sent those reports delineating the progress to his British MNC client. Johannes wanted regular reports from Pablo Mendez's office regarding the progress on the project.
From the perspective of Johannes, he had to respond to the queries of his British MNC client. The client had visited his office during the previous week and had demanded information on the progress.
