Statement of the problem:
The problem is to make the businesswoman from India familiar with the business culture, customs, etiquette of business executives from Uruguay, whom she will be dealing with in the near future. As there are huge differences in the business culture, customs and business practices between India and Uruguay, the businesswoman from India needs to be familiar with the business culture of Uruguay to conclude successful business dealing.
A foreign woman such as the Indian businesswoman will have no problem doing business in Uruguay. It may even be an advantage. Men like to be with and enjoy doing business with women. She should not misinterpret an invitation to join a man for a business lunch as an attempting to seduce her. As uruguayans are proud of their country with keen interest, it is good to ask them questions about their country, history, culture, politics, etc. A mistake that needs to be avoided is confusing Uruguay with Paraguay.
