Amazon.com is a United States based company which does business through Internet and is involved in E-commerce (Belfast-based Global Email Company Limited, 2008). It is based in Seattle, Washington. It was the first major company to sell goods over the Internet. It was established in 1994 by Jeff Bezos but was launched in 1995.
