A prosperous social networking website that I am researching is Facebook. This social networking website has been operating since September 2006. It allowed any person above the age of 13 with an e-mail ID to become a member. However, Facebook targets adults. The users can update their profiles and communicate with friends about themselves. Further, networks can be organized by workplace, school, and college. Facebook is a social software and it appealed to students and adolescents. It also enables the user to chose the information she wishes to share with her friends. It enables group formation over topics, discussions, and issues. The use of Facebook has become a social status, in fact if a person does not use it means she has a career liability. It also enables blogging, communicating, sharing of information, ideas and cooperative networking. It can be accessed on mobile phones and can be used to add your photos and other attachments.
