One good example of positive organizational politics is to volunteer for and do visible important tasks. The purpose of positive politics is to create a good image so that negative political activities will either get reduced or get deflected. For this it is necessary to do tasks that are perceived to be important and are seen by others in the organization. In several cases if the task is not visible the person should communicate it to the key employees. For example, the company announces that it will begin a blog. You take up the responsibility of starting the blog. This also gives you the opportunity of contributing to the blog so that your contribution is seen by others.
