Individuals can deal with two or more conflicting value systems by entering into dialogue with the parties having conflicting set of values and finding commonalities to ensure a win-win outcome for all. In other words, individuals should strive hard to find common ground or platform for aligning the individual goals and objectives with the objectives and goals of the organization/other party having conflicting values.

Third parties can sometime help the disputants to redefine or reframe their conflict, focusing more on attainable interests and less on non-negotiable positions or negative stereotypes. They can also help parties to seek mutually beneficial outcomes rather than competitive, win-lose outcomes.

In this manner, individuals can effectively deal with two or more conflicting value systems.
