Your specific assignment is to research the following types of alternative-fuel vehicles that are currently under development, examine the advantages and disadvantages of each, and decide which would have the least environmental impact.

Some advantages of having an electric car is that it does not have any emission. A variety of incentives are present too when buying this type of vehicle. They are excellent when it comes to receiving any form of tax credit, re-charging that is absolutely free, some states allow free parking, and the individual or family receives tax credits. However, disadvantages do exist. The biggest and only one currently is that they do not go long distances because the battery does require recharging after so many miles are put on it.

A hybrid has many advantages to it. They conserve fuel, have two engines, owners do not experience the increasing cost of having to buy fuel, free parking as well as entry to car pool lanes, tolls at a discount, and the opportunity to save on taxes.
