What type of total rewards package to offer a team

From a companies perspective there are many benefits a company really cannot afford to go without offering their employees if they hope to attain a strong and competitive work force. Providing a total rewards package gives employees a piece of mind that you cannot put a price tag on. There are so many different benefits that are offered each with a unique reason and reward for the employee.

If you were in a position to decide on a total rewards package to offer a team what type of benefits would you consider offering and why? How would you justify the cost?
