This is probably one of the most easily seen and difficult to answer questions because not all regulations from different entities are easily explained as burdens. Many times there are excessive taxes for businesses due to the regulations of doing business in the federal government and states. Taxes for small businesses and corporations are easily identified. Agency regulations are not. They add both revenue burdens and regulatory burdens that are time based and monetarily based. The EPA requires many different regulations to protect water, air, animals and lands.
