A manager who is conducting or managing business on a global level would need to be aware of the cultural norms in the region or country that the business is being conducted. This is vital to the success of the interaction between the companies. In my experience, the majority of problems managing and conducting business on a global scale result from not understanding the cultural differences and not communicating with each other about them.
Some questions that could be asked are:
-What are the cultural norms within this region/country as it relates to business?
-What is our main population that we will be interacting with?
-What motivates the employees of the company to achieve results?
