An ethical dilemma is a situation that has a mental conflict involving serious moral issues. The dilemma is there because following one course of action would harm other interests (1). The mental conflict that Antonio faces is that he can follow orders and dig up the underground wire and damage the systems so that Empress Luxury Lines can make an insurance claim of $500,000. However, this action goes against Antonio's morality. He does not want to be a part of the racket to defraud the insurance company. If he refuses to carry out the orders of company and does not dig up the wire and damage the systems, the company may take action against him. He might be fired.
