The factors that affect the business environment are many and these include both qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative factors are those that can be quantified with numbers. They can be tested against other variables to see if there are patterns or to prove a hypothesis. Qualitative factors are those that are observable and include feelings and how the persons involved react to their environment.
