If I were Palmer, I would take the opportunity to discuss some of the difficulties that I had been experiencing working with Crosby and Olds. I would ensure that Sands had all of the necessary information to ensure that she was making the best decision she could for Olds and for the projects. While Olds might be more interesting in the consulting work, he was originally assigned to the auditing project and though it is understandable that having two different roles can be challenging, Sands needs to see all sides of the story before making an official decision.
